First thing this Year in deep snow, I facilitated the Cultural Enterprise Office's Away Day on 'Embracing Change' in Scotland. Since I last delivered training, the organisation has massively grown in size. It was a joy to be part of their achievements.
My work with the various Creative Partnerships area delivery offices continues, and in addition I have started delivering advanced Creative Agent and Staff training the North East.
In May and October this year I delivered training to the artists on the Daghdha Dance Mentoring Scheme, in Limerick/Ireland, facilitating the development of their communication skills and creative thinking practices.
In October I facilitated the creative idea generation of over 30 participants for Walk The Plank's future planning day.
In January I facilitated a meeting for the BFI & regional film archives/regional screen agencies, as part of the Screen Heritage UK strategy, to agree the best approach for the Union Catalogue & Portrait of Britain.
Robert Meadows, Roger Hill and myself successfully delivered a pilot for The Centre of Urban Education. The course has now been validated by MMU as a 20 Credit accredited MA module, is called 'Creativity in Education', and with myself as course leader will run from March 2010.
